So why should I get a Maxi Climber?
Tired of doing the same exercises, repackaged in different ways?
Maxi Climber is the affordable, calorie-blasting, body sculpting workout that enables you to perform both cardio and muscle toning all in the comfort of your own home.
By using only your bodyweight, this machine will give you a full body workout without any added stress on the lower joints of the body.
It also gives you a more efficient cardio workout than either a stationary bike or a treadmill. An hour workout on the Maxi Climber burned an average of 500 calories.
On the other hand, riding an exercise bike for the same length of time at a speed of 10.5 MPH with moderate resistance only burns an average of 330 calories.
Walking on a treadmill at a speed of 3 mph with a 1.5% incline burns an average of 250 calories, half that of the Maxi Climber.
But it’s not just the health benefits this climber machine has got going for it. It’s got good build quality too…
Quality
Some users have described the material as cheap looking, but for the reasonable price, one can only expect so much.
I was more concerned about the durability and functionality of the machine.
It holds up quite well, even for heavier users. It is designed for users up to 240 pounds but users up to 300 pounds have reported the climber working wonders for them.
The Maxi Climber is made primarily of cold-rolled steel which makes it much more durable than similar products made of cheap metal or plastic.
And what about it’s…
Design
As gym equipment goes, the Maxi Climber is quite compact. It’s 22 inches wide, 36 inches deep, and up to 79 inches high, depending on the user’s height.
You need to leave some open space to allow the machine to move properly and give your body plenty of space. Even so, this takes up much less space than say a treadmill.
It’s designed to mimic the natural movement of climbing limiting stress on your joints and strengthening all areas of the body.
The hand grips work in unison with the foot pedals so that the users arms and legs work together in proper form. The height of the foot pedals adjusts so you can match the machine’s height to your body.
This machine features two sets of handles, one static and one moveable. All grips are ergonomic and provide a solid grip, even with sweaty hands.
The moveable grips offer the best full-body exercise working your arms, shoulders, back and core in addition to your leg muscles.
While these handles are preferred, sometimes you just need to rest your upper body.
That’s why the static handles exist. You can grab them in the middle of exercise to focus completely on the legs, or do alternating sets on the two sets of handles.
The great thing about this machine is the ability to customize your workout to fit individual user’s needs.
Benefits of a Maxi Climber
In addition to the increased caloric burn that a vertical climber provides, there are several benefits.
First, exercising on a vertical climber has very little impact on the joints. In this respect, it is similar to an elliptical machine because the foot pedals stay with your feet as you climb.
On the other hand, each repetition on a vertical climber is much more work (and more reward) for your whole body than running on an elliptical.
Climbing can become exhausting quick so it’s important to rest frequently, especially when you first start using a climber.
Otherwise your joints can suffer even though there is very little impact. As you get stronger, you can increase your exercise time but make sure to stop if you experience any joint pain.
Vertical climbers will also build strength like no other cardio equipment.
They help build lean muscle because they are using the body’s weight as resistance. It’s similar to many HIIT exercises that work the whole body by only using the body weight itself to tone muscles.
While you may think that these machines only work the lower body, the foot pedals work in unison with the hand grips to work muscles all over the body.
💵 What about the Price? 💵
Ok, so I can hear you, this may be a great exercise machine, but what about the price?
While the Maxi Climber is a bit pricier than other climbers on the market, there is some added comfort, improved build quality and just a smoother operation than others.
It is the most popular climbing machine on the market and the best option if you can afford it.
What about the competition?
So you’ve made the decision to get into shape and buy a climber. But which climber should you spend your hard earned money on? Is the Maxi Climber still the best choice when compared to other exercise machines.

Although both machines are great in various ways, the one that does it for me is the Maxi Climber. It may cost a little more than the Conquer Vertical Climber but it’s worth the extra. The Maxi Climber!
Although both machines aren’t bad, if it were up to me, I would go with the Maxi Climber. It feels much more stable than the Sunny Folding Climber Stepper and I love the fact that you can barely hear it while in use. For a total body workout machine that won’t break the bank, it’s the Maxi Climber all the way.

The Maxi Climber!
While the Versaclimber does give you a total body workout that even the fittest of athletes would find invigorating, for the amount you pay, it’s just not worth it. The Maxi Climber is a competitively priced model that works and tones all the important muscles and is suitable for just about anyone. It’s low-impact, high intensity workout machine will leave you feeling fighting fit in no time.
Maxi Climber Vs Treadmill
It’s nice to be able to keep on top of your fitness without going to the gym and there are various at-home exercise machines around that will enable you to do that. One of the most popular machines available to buy at the moment is the Maxi Climber. But, how does this new machine fare against the likes of the good, old treadmill? Keep reading to find out.
Maxi Climber
How it works: The Maxi Climber works your whole body. It was designed to mimic the actions of mountain climbing and works by using your own body weight as resistance. Not only does it tone those hard to reach muscles, it gives your cardiovascular system a good workout too.
Design/safety features: It’s durable and well-built and comes equipped with an adjustable steel frame in which to accommodate even the tallest of users. There’s even padded isometric grips to keep your hands cushioned while working out.
Assembly/Storage: One of the best features of this machine is that it’s so easy to put together as most of the assembly’s done prior to packing. Another great things about the Maxi Climber is that you don’t need much space to use it and it can easily be folded down and packed away when not in use.
Treadmill
How it works: The treadmill is a tried and tested piece of exercising equipment that’s been around for more than 50 years. It’s also easy to use and suitable for anyone that can walk. Most treadmills nowadays will allow you to adjust both the speed and incline for a more intense workout.
Design/safety features: Running on a treadmill is much easier on your joints than running outside, regardless of whether it’s an electric or manual model. However, injuries such as muscle strain are still very common when using these machines, so do take care when on them.
Assembly/Storage: Although some models do fold up for easier storage, they do still tend to be quite bulky.
Maxi Climber Vs Rowing Machine
Want a new exercise machine but not sure what to get? Check out this short article on the ins and outs of the Maxi Climber and rowing machines to see if either of these two machines tickles your fancy.
Maxi Climber

If you can walk, you can use this climber. All you have to do is simply step on and go through the motions as if you were climbing a ladder and keep it up for as long as possible. Most people will find that within 10 minutes you can feel the great effect it’s having.
Design/safety features: This machine has been designed to give you a total body workout. It’s low-impact yet high intensity workout will burn calories like you never imagined and without the extra stress on your joints. There’s also 4 handles on this machine so you can alter your arm position as you see fit.
Assembly/Storage: The Maxi Climber comes 90% pre-assembled and can be ready to use in less than 15 minutes from unpacking. It takes just a few seconds to pull it out from stored use ready for working out and can also be folded down again in seconds when finished.
Rowing Machine
How they work: Rowing machines give your body an all over workout. They’re designed to mimic the action of rowing so not only do they build and tone your muscles but they work your cardiovascular system too.
Design/safety features: They come in two forms: the dual-handle rower or the single-handle rower. The dual-handle rower gives users a feeling similar to that of being in a rowboat, whereas the single-handle rower mimics sweep rowing.
Assembly/Storage: Unfortunately not all rowing machines fold up for easy storage. Those that do tend to be most compact are the dual-handle models, so if space is an issue, look for one of these. Rowing machines that have a shorter slide rail will fold up into a much smaller package, packing it easier to transport.
Maxi Climber Vs Elliptical
Choosing to purchase an exercise machine to use at work or at home is not a decision that should be taken lightly. Different machines work different muscles and will give you very different results. They also differ in user friendliness, and in how easy they are to assemble. Two exercise machines that people are showing great interest in at the moment are the Maxi Climber and elliptical machine. And while both are great pieces of equipment, which one is right for you?
Maxi Climber
How it works: Get a total body workout in no time at all with this innovative exercise machine. To use it simply keep your feet flat on the pedals and your back straight. Then, while grasping tight the machine’s handles push down with one foot as you push up the opposite handle. Carry out this motion for as long as you feel necessary.

Elliptical
How they work: Elliptical machines are very easy to use and suitable for people of all fitness levels. They have pedals in which to rest your feet and handrails for you to hold. For the most effective workout, as you step, push and pull the handrails while staying in an upright position. You can also use the machine without the handrails to give your lower body a more intense workout. However, this is only recommended for advanced users or those with very good balance.
Design/safety features: The main function of an elliptical machine is improving your cardiovascular system which is very important in maintaining good heart function. They also offer a low impact workout that’s easy on the joints.
Assembly/Storage: Assembly difficulty will vary depending on the model you buy and be aware that not all elliptical machines fold down for easy storage.
